The College is the University of Chicago’s undergraduate program, grounded in the liberal arts. From the Core to advanced study in the majors, students engage deeply with ideas that have shaped the world—learning in small, discussion-based settings alongside faculty whose work defines their fields. - Undergraduate scholarships and financial aid to ensure that talented students from every background can access and thrive in the transformative intellectual environment of the College
- The Core curriculum and innovative pedagogy to support the rigorous, interdisciplinary educational foundation that teaches students to think critically across fields and perspectives
- Undergraduate research and inquiry-driven learning to provide students with opportunities to participate directly in discovery across the humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, and biological sciences
- Student life and academic support programs to strengthen the residential, cocurricular, and advising systems that help students flourish intellectually and personally
- Experiential learning and global opportunities to expand access to research, internships, study abroad, civic engagement, and entrepreneurial experiences that deepen learning beyond the classroom
