Pritzker School of Medicine
The Pritzker School of Medicine is dedicated to training students of exceptional promise to become leaders and innovators and empowering them to confront the most complex challenges in human health.
Educating the next generation of leaders in science and medicine
At the Pritzker School of Medicine, aspiring physicians and physician-scientists train at the intersection of rigorous inquiry, leading-edge patient care, and interdisciplinary collaboration, preparing them to improve human health as clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and trainers of future generations of physicians and scientific investigators.
Over the past 100 years, Pritzker students and alumni have pioneered discoveries and devised novel solutions that have transformed human life—from blood banks and polio vaccines to chemotherapy and mass-produced insulin. Today, as breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and personalized medicine revolutionize health care, Pritzker continues to empower students to lead the way in leveraging new technologies, pursuing urgent questions, and improving standards of care for patients in Chicago and around the world.
Philanthropy will expand investment in the best and brightest students and trainees through scholarships and fellowships, strengthen physician-scientist training, and ensure that exceptional students can pursue a Pritzker School of Medicine education, regardless of background or socioeconomic status.
