Divinity School
Chicago minds redefine how religion is studied, taught, and engaged in the modern world.
Where belief is studied, tested, and brought into public life
At the Divinity School, the study of religion meets the world it shapes. Faculty and students examine belief, ethics, and practice across traditions, taking on questions of power, identity, science, and public life with rigor and independence.
At a moment when religion continues to influence global and civic life, this work is essential. Through interdisciplinary research, professional training, and public engagement, the Divinity School prepares leaders and scholars to navigate complexity with clarity.
Philanthropic support will strengthen faculty leadership, expand innovative programs, and ensure that rigorous understanding of religion continues to inform the conversations shaping our world.
